Getting ready for the Catford Arts Trail which starts tomorrow. I have not participated in an exhibition before and can now say "it's a lot of work". To the casual observer it doesn't look like there is much behind the order and arrangement, but believe me, there is. And my show is small fry compared to some. It started with the decision to frame the work I wanted to show. The paintings were framed by the marvellous David Mitchell in Lewisham and for the drawings I ordered frames and mounts from Best4Frames who provided a fantastic service. Looking forward to the next two weekends! Then in the last couple of days I have been busy with tape measure, calculator, hammer and picture hooks to get the display in position and looking neat. Hope to see lots of people, so come and enjoy the arts trail.
